Offensive Costume?

A Southern California immigrant rights group on Friday asked the Target store chain and a costume company to stop selling an "illegal alien" Halloween costume it said is offensive to immigrants. (From Fox News)

Do you think it's offensive or harmless Halloween fun?

As a foreigner who's here legally and had to pay quite a bit to be legal I see no problem with this costume. ;-) Those who do are, unfortunately, caught up in political correctness which I've had exorcised from me in my years in Europe.

So now costumes must be politically correct. Gee better get rid of Santa in the mall this year. This is really stupid to say the least.

Happy Harvest
Not surprised that a pressure group has surfaced from Southern Cali...not surprised someone would cry discrimination over a Halloween costume, after all we live in a society which now refers to Halloween as Happy Harvest. People need to lighten up, and these pressure groups need to be snuffed out.

Funny Costume
I find it funny that this costume has created such a buzz. It was a funny idea. I guess if they were upset with this costume then the first ten minutes of MEN IN BLACK must have been really upsetting. I think some people just can't take a joke.
