• John and Cisco Crimestoppers: A machete-wielding man on Sunday robbed a man in Elgin of his taco dinner.
• President Obama has apologized for the United States at virtually every stop he's made around the world, but when he was in Japan he would not apologize for the United States decision to drop two atomic bombs during World War II.
• Moments in Racial Insensitivity: Universal changed "Couples Retreat" marketing material for the film's UK release. They removed the black actors from both the poster's photo and the list of stars typed out.
• A soldier is refusing to deploy to Afghanistan because she is a single mother and says that she cannot find someone to take care of her child. The army gives parents up to a year to come up with a child care plan before they are deployed, and she failed to do so. Is this a lack of compassion on the part of the military or is the parent not living up to her contract with the Army?

• CNN reportedly paid Lou Dobbs $8 million to leave the network.  Jonathan Klein didn’t like Dobbs stories about illegal immigration and the anti-Obama “birther” movement.

• President Barack Obama is looking at the idea of moving suspected terrorists from the Guantanamo Bay detention center to a northwest Illinois prison. Do you think that it would create jobs, or just paint a bulls eye on Illinois for a future terrorist attack? Congressman Don Manzullo represents that district and is opposed to the plan. • Ennis, a town in County Clare, Ireland, is dealing with a severe public urination problem. One guy installed a device that administers an electric shock when you pee on his wall. One city council member wants to appoint two “urine wardens” to patrol the streets on weekends looking for drunks peeing in public.
• The Minnesota kid who fled chemo because of his family’s religions beliefs did eventually get treatment, and now he’s cancer free.
• Chicago Department of Public Health officials say they’ve vaccinated almost 51,000 people against the swine flu. Big John Howell will be the 51,001st on Wednesday.
• President Obama is still sitting out the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Does it make the President look bad to swoop into Copenhagen for the Olympics, and pick up his Nobel Peace Prize  but skip the Berlin anniversary?

• Joe Leiberman has announced and investigation into the Ft. Hood shooting. He says that the Army should have zero tolerance, and if any of the supposed warning signs were actually true, the army should have shown him the door. John and Cisco talked about the story with Dr. Emir Caner, author of the book "The Truth About Islam and Jihad" and a former Muslim who converted to Christianity.
• Massachusetts Man Says He Was Fired for Telling Colleague Her Gay Marriage Is Wrong. Does that count as harassment and reason for termination?
  
• On Friday we learned that the unemployment hit 10.2% for the month of October. Can we ever expect it to come back down? John and Cisco talked about it with Fox Business Network anchor Liz MacDonald.
• A sixth grader in Plainfield has been expelled for a year after stabbing a classmate with a pencil. Is that a fair punishment or more zero tolerance insanity?
• The House passed the health care bill late Saturday night. Since the vote was so closes in the House, it seems DOA in the Senate. Lindsey Graham says so. John and Cisco talked about it with Glenn Thursh, senior congressional correspondent for The Politico.
  

• A shooting rampage Thursday afternoon at the Army's Fort Hood in Texas killed 11 and wounded 31 before the gunman was killed and two other suspects taken into custody. Military officials are starting to piece together what may have pushed an Army psychiatrist trained to help soldiers in distress to turn on his comrades in a shooting rampage that killed 13 people and wounded 30 in Texas. John and Cisco checked in with Todd Starnes from Fox News Radio with the latest on the story.
• The tragedy at Ft. Hood has left the military community reeling, and many questions left to be answered. John and Cisco got the miliary perspective on the story from Jeff Addicott, a former Green Beret, former JAG officer for twenty years.
• Some people close to the Ft. Hood shooter have said that he as unhappy about being deployed overseas. What were there signs? What could the motivation have been? How can we be sure this does not happen in the future? John and Cisco talked to Kathy Seifert, a Forensic Psychologist and Violence Expert.
• Terror From Above: North side house was hit by giant chunks of ice from the sky. It’s more than likely from an airplane, the FAA is investigating. Thankfully since the ice isn’t blue, it’s more than likely not from an airplane bathroom.
• One year after President Obama's election, the numbers aren't pretty. 49% now say that they would vote against Obama if the election were held today. John and Cisco broke down the numbers with pollster Scott Rasmussen.
  

• Yesterday we had the story about Chicago being the most stressed city in the country. Today we learned that we are also the third most toxic city in the United States. Atlanta is number one.
• House of Squalor Update: Dudley, MA has made it illegal to own more than three cats without a license.
• Mark Kirk sent Sarah Palin a memo asking her to say some positive things about him. Since he has some stances that are at odds with Palin, would you have less respect for her if she endorsed Mark Kirk? John and Cisco talked to Lynn Sweet with the Chicago Sun-Times, who has been following the story.
  
• Mother of The Year: A woman left her kids with a babysitter, saying that when she and dad got back from dinner they would take the kids trick-or-treating. They didn’t come back until Tuesday. Her defense? “I’m 24 and can do what I want”

• Michael Jackson's doctor says that the pop star used to pee in front people and even kids. He says that it probably the explanation for why his molestation accuser was able to describe Jackson in such detail.
  

• CTA scare: The doors of a Red Line train closed on a stroller, dragging it to the end of the platform where a 22-month-old girl inside the stroller fell out. Thankfully the child was alright after the mishap.
  
• According to a study from the American Psychological Association, Chicagoans are increasingly stressed about work and job stability.
• ABC's remake of "V" debuted last night. The alien invasion miniseries has quite a few not-so-subtle swipes at Obamamania.

• The Louisiana justice of the peace in Baton Rouge who refused to marry a couple because the bride was white and groom was black resigned.
• Remember the story about prison inmates getting the H1N1 vaccine when it’s not available for everyone else? Well now the Gitmo detainees are getting it. Interestingly the White House says it’s not happening, and the Pentagon says that it is.
• A new church in Phoenix is making a little too much noise for its neighbors. Are church bells freedom of religion or disturbing the peace?
