Meet the Crew...
Timothy Allen
Executive Producer
Timothy Allen in a Nutshell (...through the eyes of his wife)
Timothy Allen, is a one-of-a-kind renaissance man in radio entertainment. Not only does he create the framework for The Big John and Cisco show, establish solid relationships with people all over the country to create numerous guest opportunities for your listening pleasure, and provide the quick-witted brain power behind half of the jokes you hear throughout the morning, he also gets up every weekday at 2:10 AM to do it, cooks fabulous meals for himself and his lovely wife to share for dinner, and finds time to maintain his delicious biceps.
He has worked in Chicago radio since 2002, but got his start back at his college-on-the-hill, Denison University, where he was a DJ for several shows including but not limited to: 'Tim and Joe's Show of Fun', 'The Talky Talkenson Show', and 'The All Rock Rocking Rock Evening Café' while holding the position of Public Relations Director on the Executive Board of the station.
In both his work as a DJ and as an improvisational comedy troupe member, Timothy has honed his skills in humor and performance. Listen carefully, despite his mumbling he probably just got you with quite the zinger. YOU GOT BURNT! (Oh yeah, and his virility is out of this world.)
Ken Jennings
Technical Producer
Ken is the man who makes the show sound great. He edits all of our audio clips, picks and plays the musical interludes and make sure that we get the news, traffic and commercials on the air.
After graduating from Ashland University, Ken bounced around Ohio working on all sorts of formats for years before landing a morning gig at WCLT-AM in Newark, Ohio. (He even did a short stint behind the scenes in TV).
This radio man moved to Chicago in 2004, after his lovely wife Beth convinced him the north side was the place to be. He worked at US 99.5 for two years as a producer and part-time DJ. That's where met and became friends with Big John Howell.
On his days off, you can usually find Ken involved in some type of sporting event, be it Ohio State football (Go Buckeyes!), NFL Sunday, at a Cubs game or cheering for Dale Earnhardt Junior on the track.
He loves the outdoors, cleans way too much and makes his wife's life a little more interesting. Ken and Beth live on the north side where they enjoy pizza Fridays, beat their friends at trivia games, take care of their fish Larry, Curly and Moe, and watch way too much TV.
Mike Scott

Mike was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated from South Christian High School and attended Reformed Bible College in Grand Rapids and Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Tennessee.
Mike began his career in radio in 1984 at WHCO Radio in Sparta, Illinois, signing on as a host and high school football and basketball play-by-play voice as well as covering local and regional politics in Southern Illinois.
Later, Mike continued his career in his home town of Grand Rapids, Michigan holding various roles in the news and sports departments of WCUZ AM/FM.
Mike began the Chicago leg of his career with the Tribune Company’s Interstate Radio Network and later was a sports anchor and reporter for AM 1000 and News Radio 780 WBBM. Mike later returned to Illinois politics by taking the post of Political Beat Writer for the Metro Source wire service and covered Chicago and state politics before helping launch News Talk 560 WIND as morning drive news anchor in the fall of 2004.
Mike has been married to his wife Melissa for 21 years and they have three handsome boys and a beautiful baby girl. Thankfully, they all reflect the beauty and character of their mother but are being reared to embrace American League baseball and the DH not the “look our pitchers can’t hit a lick” National League their Cardinal fan mom enjoys.
Jeanette Hudson

I have been interested in broadcasting for as long as I can remember. An application to summer Broadcasting Camp at Western Illinois University turned into the event that sealed the deal. Yes I realize this is a little dorky, but when I got home I couldn't think of anything else I'd like to do with my life, and shortly after realizing that I began my first part-time job at our local radio stations in Pana, IL, what was then WXKO and WRAN.
I attended North Central College in Naperville, IL. I majored in Broadcasting and Sociology, and graduated in 2004. During my college career I worked a plethora of jobs at the campus radio station Pure Rock FM 89 WONC. I also completed a number of internships to learn more about the business working with some of the most talented people you'll ever meet at several stations in Chicagoland including the Kevin Matthews Show at WCKG, AM 1280 WBIG, 100.3 WNND, and Metro Networks/ Shadow Broadcast Services in Chicago. Fortunately, the last internship yielded a job after graduation. I've been employed with Metro Networks/Shadow Broadcast Services for 3 years working my way up from weekend and overnight hours and finally reaching the coveted morning drive with Chicago's best morning show team Big John Howell and Cisco Cotto.
My interests outside of work include trying to play golf, reading, occasionally cooking a nice meal for my fiancé, spending time with my friends and family, keeping up with the news, and pretending to work out on a regular basis. My fiancé and I are getting married on July 7th 2007, yes we're one of "those couples," so wedding planning is also eating up a ton of my free time for the moment.
